This is an island of endless white sand, turquoise waters, palms and coconut trees. A perfect spot for sunbathing, water sports, enjoying a traditional meal or exploring the far reaches of the island.
Countless caves recall the presence of the native Taíno Indians, like Cotubanamá, named in memory of the region's proud Indian chief who was captured by the Spanish Conquistadors.
The only settlement on the island, Mano Juan, is a fishing village with wooden houses in pastel colours and also a craft centre.
