Welcome to Samana

The peninsula of Samana is possibly the best destination of the Dominican Republic for lovers of adventure and nature. Not only for the spectacle that the humpback whales offer from the Atlantic to mate and give birth to their young, but also for their magnificent green mountains, their long white sand beaches and their small fishing villages bathed by the water of a sea color turquoise.

Samana is an ecological destination where visitors can enjoy discovering paradisiacal beaches and inlets, crossing rivers and waterfalls. The place evokes romanticism for its almost virgin state, very far from mass tourism. It offers vast possibilities to lovers of exploration with a lush vegetation that surrounds the bay dotted with many small islands, called "cays" and with large deserted beaches such as Las Galeras and Playa Rincon.

In these Caribbean lands you can still enjoy the essence of the traditional "bachata" and the African dance "bamboulá", but also of the practice of all the nautical sports imaginable or of the purest nature in the National Park of Los Haitises.
