The Riviera Maya is 130 km long and located on the Caribbean Sea coast in the state of Quintana Roo. It goes from the Puerto Morelos in the north to Punta Allen, in the south.
This is a very complete and attractive tourist destination for all types of travellers, with stunning white sandy beaches, a fascinating natural environment that combines lush greenery with the archaeological remains of pre-Columbian cultures, the second largest barrier reef in the world, an excellent hotel infrastructure and a wide range of complementary activities.
It's an ideal spot for a holiday combining relaxation, nature and fun, all against a backdrop of traditional Mexican music and delicious local cuisine.
More low key travellers can relax on superb beaches, enjoy the spas or play golf, while more intrepid travellers can actively experience natural pools (caves, caverns, lagoons and true idyllic spots between the jungle and the sea), dive around the sea floor and get to know the area from the air in a helicopter. Even the youngest travellers will have the opportunity to swim with dolphins and enjoy great water parks. Any visitor will be taken by such wealth of possibilities and sensations.
